Stop 07 of 10  ·  UTAH

Moab, Utah

Home base for Arches and Canyonlands, with red rock arches, canyons, and the Colorado River.

Moab is home base for two of Utah's most striking national parks, plus a desert landscape carved by the Colorado River that draws mountain bikers, off-roaders, and photographers in roughly equal measure. It's a small town with an outsized outdoor-recreation economy, and it makes an easy anchor point for several days of red-rock exploring without moving the RV once. If you know of an RV-friendly stop near Moab that isn't listed here, please submit it and we'll get it added to the directory.

📘 Good to Know

Planning tip

Many of Moab's famous 4x4 and OHV trails are unpaved and unsuitable for a full-size RV. Most visitors park at a campground and explore backcountry routes in a separate Jeep, ATV, or towed vehicle instead.
