The Hill Country’s state parks mix electric and full-hookup sites with swimming holes and granite domes. Know which parks fit your rig and which are tent-only.

Central Texas’s Hill Country is built around state parks on rivers and lakes, and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department lists hookups and fees for each site type. Pedernales Falls offers 69 electric sites, Inks Lake 114 and Garner State Park 12 full-hookup sites plus several electric loops.
Not every park fits an RV. Enchanted Rock’s walk-in and primitive sites are tent camping only, and some water-only areas have length limits of 20 or 26 feet. Daily entrance fees apply on top of the nightly fee.
